Self-love and Why YOU
Matter the Most!

This module is designed to teach you how to love YOU!  From learning about the powerful vibration of love, to ways of truly loving yourself and how to open and heal the heart chakra, this module is all about the truth of personal development and unconditional love.

Give yourself 2 - 4 hours to complete the exercises over the week and of course, bring any questions you have to the call.  


Don't worry if the exercises are not yet complete prior to the weekly calls.  The calls are designed to help clarify concepts and motivate you along the way!

4.1 THE ENERGY OF LOVE

Studies have shown that thoughts and feelings turn genes “on” and “off”.  Remember, like attracts like, so feelings of love turn on positive genes…the ones that help you maintain balance and stay healthy. Strands of DNA are lengthened (that is what you want to happen) when you create feelings of love, gratitude, and compassion and are shortened by feelings of fear, anger, and frustration. The shorter they are, the more DNA codes are turned off.

4.1 The Energy of Love
The most powerful energy in the Universe is love. It is the “purest” form of energy with the highest vibration and the greatest intensity.

4.2 Loving Yourself

It’s one thing to know the importance of loving ourselves in theory, but quite another thing to effectively put self-love into practice —and the reason is because most of us come from cultures and societies that do not promote, or even support, self-love, and we often feel judged if we love ourselves, value ourselves, or put ourselves first.

4.2 Loving Yourself
The art of loving yourself is so incredibly important.  If love is the vibration of health and healing, loving yourself is key to your vitality and quality of life.  Loving yourself above all else is what makes life worth living and it is what connects us to the truth of who we are and gives us the energy to accomplish everything we have set out to do here on earth.

4.3 The Heart Chakra

The anahata chakra is associated with unconditional love, compassion, and joy. It is the source of deep and profound truths that cannot be expressed in words. Anahata is a bridge between the lower and upper chakras integrating the manifest with the spiritual.

4.3 The Heart Chakra
The literal Sanskrit translation of "anahata" is "unhurt, unstuck, or unbeaten." The Heart Chakra is perfectly situated in the middle of your body, balancing the world of matter (lower three chakras) with the world of spirit (upper three chakras).

A balanced heart chakra is when we feel open and at ease, connected to life and those around us, but also able to easily discern what emotions belong to us and what emotions belong to others. We’re centered in our own selves. We feel worthy of love and we feel safe in opening up to give and receive love with others.

4.4 Heart Chakra Meditation

Use the Heart Chakra meditation in the video below to open up your heart and remove any blockages that may be holding you back.

4.4 Heart Healing Techniques
Try out these three heart healing techniques to bring more love, healing and happiness into your life.

Visualize

While you are meditating, visualize loving, healing light entering your crown chakra (at the top of your head) and moving down to your heart. Imagine love and light filling every dark corner of your heart (where your hurts live). As your heart fills with love and light, negativity dissipates. You’ll see great results if you do this meditation every day for just a few minutes!

FORgiveness

Forgiveness is essential to healing the heart. Forgiveness doesn’t mean that what someone did or said is okay, only that you are releasing YOUR emotional burden about that memory. Compassion helps you forgive someone who has wronged you, and heal your emotional wounds and heart. Don’t forget to forgive yourself!

Thoughts

Anytime you self-talk yourself into “I’m not beautiful enough… or talented/good enough, bla bla bla” – STOP. Replace that thought immediately with its opposite! This approach takes time and consistency as you create the HABIT of thinking about yourself in a positive, loving way!  But it is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself.
